The 7 days Lentil Diet

At breakfast, in your 7 days diet, you can alternate these foods:

  • – 1 cup granola, 1 cup plain yogurt, 1 pear
  • – 1 slice of toasted bread with cream cheese and tomatoes
  • – 2 slices of toasted bread with 2 tablespoons cheese and honey

At snacks in your 7 days diet, you can alternate the following foods:

  • – 1 fruit (but not bananas or grapes)

At lunch and dinner you can eat some dishes based on lentils. Let’s see how you can prepare a daily diet (the quantity for each dish is enough for 2 servings).

Day 1 – Lentil Pancakes

  • – 1 cup cooked lentils
  • – 1 chopped red onion
  • – 1 egg
  •  – 2 tablespoons flour

Pass lentils, add remaining ingredients, spice and form some pancakes. Preheat the oven and bake your pancakes. You can eat them with cheese and vegetables.

Day 2 – Lentil Soup

  • – 1 cup lentils
  • – 1 carrot
  • – 2 medium potatoes
  • – 1 celery
  • – 1 small red onion
  • – 2 cups vegetable broth
  • – 1 tablespoon cream
  • – salt, pepper, thyme

Boil your vegetables. In a skillet, brown 200 grams of diced chicken breast. Puree the vegetables until you get a soup and add meat.

Day 3 – Scrambled Eggs and Mashed Lentils

Make an omelet from 2 eggs. For lentil puree, you need:

  • – 1 cup vegetable broth / chicken
  • – 1 tablespoon butter
  • – 1 cup cooked lentils

Add ingredients in blender and mix them. Add the mixture in a pot and put it to boil on medium heat for 15 minutes.

Day 4 – Lentils with Rice

Boil 1 cup of rice and separately prepare a fresh tomato sauce, garlic and onion. The sauce that adds 1 cup of lentils boiled and let food to settle.

Day 5 – Lentils and Mashed Potatoes

  • – 1 cup lentils
  • – 1 cup vegetable broth / chicken
  • – 1 cup mashed potatoes

Boil a lentils vegetable soup, then add mashed potatoes and mix. You can serve food with chicken or vegetables.

Day 6 – Lentil Soup

  • – 1 cup cooked lentils
  • – 100 g smoked meat
  • – 1 apple
  • – 2 cups vegetable broth
  • – salt, pepper, thyme

Put the soup in a pot, add diced apple and diced meat. After 5 minutes, add lentils and let boil more for a few minutes. Season your soup.

Day 7 – Lentil Dumplings with Mushroom Sauce

  • – 1 cup cooked lentils
  • – 1 egg
  • – 1 tablespoon flour
  • – 1 chopped onion
  • – 1 tablespoon olive oil

Mix the lentils, add remaining ingredients and cook dumplings. For mushroom gravy: you need 1 cup sliced mushrooms 2 tablespoons sour cream, a little white wine, parsley and spices.
